Photostories service, design and album printing

We always strive to provide customers with the best possible quality design, print and album production service. It is the customer's responsibility to read and agree to these terms prior to submitting an order with Photostories. All orders and transactions will be subject to our terms of trade as contained herein and may be subject to change without notice.

Transactions

Prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars and includes tax and gst. Full list price applies except where stated otherwise. Listed price excludes delivery charge.

Payment

We accept Mastercard, Visa and bank deposit. Cash / cheque payments will be made by prior arrangement only. We must receive 50% of the total agreed cost prior to manufacture and within 10 working days of service agreement. As all our products are made to order, goods and services must be paid for in full before delivery.

Overseas customers

Your invoices will be expressed in local currency at the current exchange rate at time of order. We will arrange delivery, however the customer is responsible for cost of delivery any taxes, duties and clearance fees.

Ordering

We require confirmation of order as a condition of supply. We will send an album plan layout with your order quote and we will not process your order until we have confirmation that all details are correct.

Delivery

Except where stated otherwise, album manufacture and delivery times are 10 working days within New Zealand. We make every effort to supply within stated limits but can not be held responsible for freight time.

Damage in transit

Your order will be inspected and carefully packed before despatch. It is your responsibility to check for visible damage before you sign for receipt. If albums are damaged in transit your must notify both us and the courier immediately.

Other returns

As goods are specially made to your order and confirmed before production, we cannot accept returns. Except to the extent we guarantee workmanship of printing and albums (see warranty below), we do not accept returns or process refunds. In any case returns will only be accepted by prior arrangement and subject to a handling fee; the cost of return freight is the customer's responsibility. While we work very hard to keep our product as consistent as possible using standards-calibrated facilities, slight variations in colour fidelity between the customer's equipment and our production is a normal occurrence and is not considered a manufacturing defect or a defect in workmanship and does not qualify for reprint.

Limited warranty for albums

Photostories warrants that, subject to minor differences as described above, albums will be free of any defects in materials and workmanship. Photostories will, at its own expense, replace any defective albums which you report to Photostories within fourteen (14) days of receipt. The decision as to what constitutes defective rests solely with Photostories.

Exceptions to warranty

Where photographers provide their own album layout and design, Photostories is not responsible for the content or quality thereof and we will not proof, edit or change your design. Therefore the limited warranty does not include the obligation to correct: typographical errors, spelling, grammar, or other text errors; low resolution source images appearing blurry in print; design issues such as album format, organization, style, colour and page layout. Photostories is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate content. Photostories assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, any customer provided content. Photostories is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any hardware and/or software due to technical problems on the internet or at the website. Under no circumstances shall Photostories be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from use of services.

Right to refuse supply

We reserve the right to refuse supply for any reason.

Legal

Photostories is a sole trading company registered in Wellington, New Zealand. All contracts for the supply of goods and services are subject to the laws of New Zealand.
